“You could feel the welcoming atmosphere”

As a delegate of the Dialogue Association, Lilla Mármarosi spent a week with two other trainees at the end of January at the Terre des hommes child protection organisation, where she had the opportunity to experience working in the office and at external events.

“I learned a lot of new things, met a lot of new and incredibly talented and creative people. It was exciting that, as a multicultural organisation that has to deal with a lot of foreign people on a daily basis, the primary language used in the work is English.

I enjoyed the activities for children the most, including a course on 3D printing and Hungarian language lessons for Ukrainian children.

The environment was very welcoming, when I entered the office on my first day you could feel the welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was open to us, answered our questions and offered to help us in the future.”

After the training, the job-shadowing trainees spent a week working in one of Civilizáció’s organisations. They developed and implemented their own projects based on the knowledge they gained.

The programme is implemented in partnership with Civilizáció.
